  Every campaign that helps to increase numbers in the Register and raise awareness of the need for organ donors is a success.

The future of transplantation and the many thousands of patients each year who need a transplant, depend upon the willingness of people who make their wishes known.

You've stirred my conscience and I've registered this morning. I'm just about to blog about your site in the hope of sending some of my readers your way too. I'll get the information out as far as possible.

My sister was 20 when she went into a coma.  She was in the coma for 3 weeks before she died and it was a horrific time for the whole family, especially my parents.  I'll never forget as a family being asked if we would consider her being a donor.  It's not something you should have to think about when someone is still alive.  So please take that step and register online, because it will make things alot easier for your loved ones. 

T - we can all learn from your positive attitude!  Life is what you make it and you are determined to make the most of yours and help transform thousands of other peoples lives along the way.  Save5 is such an inspired and selfless idea.  I know that you will reach, and surpass, your goal.  We can help you with that simply by emailing and telling as many people as possible.  Well done on all you've achieved so far!

When my friend told me about this campaign you're running  I had a look at your website,

I couldn't believe that potentially I could save 5 lives, I had no idea! And to think 3 people die every day waiting for a transplant, so unneccesary.

In April 2000, my kidneys failed due to Adult Polycystic Kidney Disease. I was very fortunate in that after only a few months, in the November of that year, I had a cadaveric kidney transplant. In my case, it only lasted four years, but allowed me a near normal life in that period. Since then, with the help of dialysis and expert renal staff, I have been granted a further six years of life, which has been of great benefit to my wife and family, and has allowed me much more precious time to share with my Grandchildren as they grow up.

 A second kidney transplant is proving more difficult to find, but we never give up hope. Surely, this is just one example, showing how really important it is for us all to support the Save5 campaign.

Well done on the marvellous job you've done with Save5. You should be very proud of yourself.  Dawn xx
