I received a letter this morning from the local transplant co-ordinator saying that using Suni's eyes they had been able to restore the sight of a 27 year old man and a 69 year old woman.

Although not "life saving", I think that this will make a huge difference to the lives of two people and this brings me some comfort at a difficult time.

I didn't think it would have any real effect on me as a surviving partner, but it makes me proud.
